Subject:  MMP Membership and Information pertaining to the organization and “Commander” Joseph W. Clark

To Whom it May Concern:

The Mississippi Music Project is a non-profit organization that was the result of the dreams and hard work by founder and President, “Commander” Joseph William Clark.  The Commander is a 100% disabled war vet from the Yugoslavian wars and multiple peace missions in Bosnia-Herzegovina.  On a mission for the war zone Commander, Joe Clark was violently attacked, captured, and beaten.  This incident which happened in Sarajevo, Bosnia, was classified by not only the United States, but also highly classified by NATO.  Due to the nature of the attack and those involved the classification was created to prevent an international incident.  This classification would cause great harm to Commander Joe Clark and his family as they attempted to obtain VA Benefits and compensation.  When Joe hired an attorney and took on the government, the VA stopped paying the Clark family completely.  With this loss of the family’s only income and support, the family was forced into Bankruptcy which caused the loss of their vehicles, home, other property and quality of life.  Commander Clark with his attorneys did not waiver from the case and eventually was successful only after a senior military official came forward and gave details of the attack.  Commander Joe Clark is now receiving the benefits he along with so many of our veterans fight for years to receive.  The Commander suffers from seizures and very severe PTSD or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, among many other disabling factors as well.  The government and the Department of Veterans Affairs may have failed Joe, but his spirit and patriotism could not be broken.  Commander Joe has been a leader in his community and has been recognized by multiple organizations and entities for his community spirit and leadership and for his many efforts to ensure that Veterans and those that have served in the time of war get the benefits they are promised.  Commander Joe Clark has held various positions of leadership and was the youngest VFW Commander ever elected to the position of Post Commander.  He is also a National Aide de Camp and All-American VFW Commander.  Commander Joseph W. Clark is an American Hero for his work while in the United States Army, The Pentagon, and as driver for some of the most high profile individuals not only in the United States, but the world including: Princess Diana and  three U.S. Presidents.  Commander Joe Clark was given a nickname that rings true to this day.  Commander Joe Clark is “The man to get the job done!”  Commander Joe Clark suffers from his injuries during his capture and has already survived an aneurysm in the brain.  There is a chance that this incredible individual could pass any day and he will tell you that each day is a gift from God and is to be cherished.

Now with his creation of one of the most respected and growing music organizations in the country, Commander Clark is trying to fulfill a life-long dream and to leave a legacy, to make a difference in the entertainment industry and his local community and to give young up and coming musicians and artists opportunities they would not have otherwise.  Commander Joe Clark is very adamant on the collecting and preserving of historical artifacts that are historical in nature and he would love to open a museum in Biloxi, Mississippi in the near future to display music memorabilia and historical memorabilia pertaining to the entertainment industry.   In addition, he has plans to open a small performance venue in which MMP Members, and up and coming artists could perform and hone their craft.  This performance venue will only be possible through donations from individuals and corporations.

SO……
How can you help and what does Commander Joseph Clark and the MMP want from you?

The organization and Commander Clark ask that you become a member of the Mississippi Music Project.  We never require that you pay any fees or dues for membership.  We do accept donations at any time you feel that you would like to help support our efforts.  We only ask that you provide an 8X10 signed photo for our membership wall.  Shall you visit the Mississippi Gulf Coast, we love to meet with you and often present our prestigious “MMP Music Award” to those approved by the MMP membership board.  The Clark family opens its’ doors to any member that would like to visit with Commander Clark and his family.  MMP HQ has a stage and sound system on standby for any member that would like to stop by and provide some entertainment for fellow members or in a private setting for “the Commander”.  Commander Joe Clark enjoys spending time with guests and loves to share his memorabilia and one of the largest Elvis Presley Collections in the state of Mississippi with any visitor.

When you become a member of the Mississippi Music Project, we build a membership page for you on the MMP Website and we help promote any events you may have coming up with our friends, families, members, and fans.  We are launching a live stream broadcast that will be available for free to anyone that would like to watch or participate in MMP broadcasts and events.

We are proud of the many members that currently are active with the MMP and have provided support and whom we have helped further their careers.  We are also proud to call the following MMP Music Awardees and Hall of Fame Members our friends:

Commander Clark has been sought after by high profile people and groups including celebrities and political leaders from around the world.    He is often celebrated for both his involvement in the U.S. Military and experiences during the war and also his time working with high profile individuals and political leaders.  Commander Joe cherishes every day and hopes that you will join us in making his dream of creating a worldwide respected and recognized music organization with an important mission a reality, and in doing so, take the first steps in being awarded the MMP Music Award and being inducted into the MMP Hall of Fame.  Together and through friends, family, and friends, we can truly make a difference.
